Who is responsible

What we store

• Account: your email address, a scrambled (hashed) version of your password, and when you confirmed your email.
• Your financial details: what you enter in onboarding and "My details" (income, costs, savings, property, goals, notes). You choose how much to share; rough numbers are fine.
• Conversations with Bram: your questions and Bram's answers, so Bram remembers the context and you can re-read them.
• Ideas you send us through the Ideas button.
• Technical logs: request logs and small diagnostic snapshots of the chat screen (screen size, scroll position, message counts) to fix display problems. These never contain the text of your messages.

We do not connect to your bank, and we do not use cookies for advertising or tracking. The only cookie is the one that keeps you logged in.

Why we use it

To run the service you signed up for: show your overview, run the calculators, let Bram answer with your numbers, send you the emails you asked for (confirmation, password reset, and later the check-ins you can switch off), and keep the service secure. The legal basis is the agreement with you and, for security and improvement, our legitimate interest.

Who else sees it

Only the companies that help us run the service, under contracts that limit them to that:

• Railway hosts the app and the database.
• Anthropic provides the language model behind Bram. Your profile summary and conversation are sent to it to generate each answer. Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models.
• Resend delivers our emails.

We never sell your data and do not share it with advertisers. If a law requires us to disclose data, we do only what the law requires.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. Delete your account from Settings and everything (profile, conversations, account) is removed immediately. Backups of the database are rotated within 30 days. Ideas you sent are kept without your account link.

Your rights

You can see and change your details in the app at any time, export them on request, and delete everything yourself. Under the GDPR you may also ask us to correct or restrict data, object to processing, or take your data elsewhere, and you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Email us and we respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we tell you in the app or by email before it applies. See also the terms of service.
