Terms of service
Last updated 17 September 2026. Plain English on purpose; the headings are not part of the terms.
1. Who we are
Helder Money is a web service operated by Orissty Studios, based in the Netherlands (the "service", "we"). You can reach us at hello@heldermoney.com.
2. What the service is, and is not
Helder Money gives you a personal overview of your finances in the Netherlands, calculators based on published Dutch rules, and a coach named Bram that answers your questions using the details you entered. Bram is an automated assistant.
This is coaching and education, not financial, tax or legal advice. We are not a licensed financial adviser (AFM) and do not give personal investment advice, recommend specific products, or file tax returns. Figures are estimates based on what you enter and on rules that change every year. Check important decisions with a qualified adviser or the authority concerned (Belastingdienst, SVB, your employer or pension fund).
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give a working email address, which you confirm by clicking the link we send.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person per account. Do not use the service for anything illegal or to harass, probe or overload it.
4. Fair use of the coach
Each account may ask a limited number of questions per day and per month; the current limits are shown in the app. The limits exist to keep the service affordable for everyone and may change with notice in the app.
5. Prices and cancelling
During the beta the service is free. When paid plans start, the price, any trial period and the founding-member conditions are shown before you enter a card. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time from Settings; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices include Dutch VAT where it applies. Statutory rights under Dutch and EU consumer law are not affected by these terms.
6. Your data
How we handle your details is described in the privacy policy. You can delete your account and all its data yourself from Settings at any time.
7. Liability
We work hard to keep the figures and the rules accurate, but we cannot guarantee that they are complete, correct or up to date, or that the service is available at all times. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you take based on the service or for loss of data, profit or opportunity. Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes and ending the service
We may update these terms and the service. If a change matters to you, we tell you in the app or by email before it applies. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using the service and delete your account whenever you like.
9. Which law applies
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless consumer law gives you the right to another court.
